Hype was around about the Superstar Rajnikant's movie Sivaji of its being hit, and we finally manage to get tickets in advance for the show on Tuesday 26th June, 2007. The show was partially sponsored by office and we got a lenient time schedule to watch the movie in weekday. In weekends, there were no hope.
The showtime was at 10:00 am and all of us gathered there at PVR, Bangalore by 9:30 am. The PVR, Bangalore is the largest multiplex in India. The show was full in advance and no booking at counter for that show. It was great experience to see Rajni's larger than life image in Sivaji, where he succeeded to achieve his goal of setting his Sivaji Foundation.
Movie was good and throghout comedy scenes helped to make the movie entertaining for me. This was also my first ever regional (Tamil) movie in a theatre. I liked the show but didn't get the precise meaning of dialogues.
Even after the movie, the craze of Sivaji was there among my Tamil friends. And off and on, I used to hear the dialogues of Rajni or to imitate the style of Rajni in Sivaji.
COOL.
